Hi all, I'm new on here - I have 3 year old identical girls.  They are going to be 4 in June and I am about to despair on the potty training front!!  I have 2 older kids, and one of them was difficult to potty train, but the twins seem to be WAY more difficult than she was! I started potty training them, just introducing them to the potty and having them sit on it, about 9 months ago.  But we had moved a few months before and I think they were still emotionally not ready from the move.  So I waited until a few weeks ago and pulled everything out again.  They'll happily go sit on the potty and get a sticker, and they get excited when they get a reward, but we have NEVER had pee in the potty yet (they are wearing pullups). One girl can tell me that pee and poop go in the potty and she'll always come sit when I ask her, but she won't ever actually try to go.  I've actually seen her hold her pee while she's sitting and wait until she's back in a pullup.  So how do I motivate her?!So my fear is that if I take the pullups away, they'll be nervous about the pee coming out and it will end up stressing them out and making them afraid to potty and they'll be 4 1/2 and still not pottying!  Let me also add that my mother puts pressure on ME about it, and I'm constantly having to tell her that it's not her problem, that everyone is different, etc.I think I'm positive with them, I hope they're not catching that I'm stressed about it, and I'm not always stressed actually, just after I talk to my mother!!Anyway, thanks for reading this long thing.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.LoriSee More
